Physical examination
Health check before getting a driver's license.
I dream of my car! Every time I sit in the passenger seat, I imagine that one day I will also try myself as a driver. I regret not getting my driver's license at school, but maybe it's for the best. It's no secret that in Ukraine, you can get a driving license without special training. Money decides everything!
But I want to be a good driver, and take care of my safety and the safety of pedestrians.
I will share with you all my impressions about the learning process.
So let's start. There are many driving schools in Lviv, and I chose the one that is closest to me and has the highest rating. Currently, a full driver's training course costs approximately 20,000 hryvnias. To register, you need a passport, a taxpayer code, and a medical certificate. They gave me a list of clinics where I can undergo a medical examination and get permission to enter a driving school.
I do not like hospitals, and I’m afraid of doctors, but there is no other way! This morning I traditionally woke up to the sounds of my neighbors’ repairs. The weather outside seemed gloomy, so I dressed warmly. It was a huge mistake, and in 20 minutes I already regretted it and just dreamed of the moment when I would return home and wear a T-shirt.
The nearest medical center is a 10-minute walk from my house. I went inside. Two girls were sitting at the reception desk. One is plump, with dark red hair and very shiny gray shadows on her eyes. Another one was in glasses and a white blouse, I thought it was a medical gown, but then I noticed it was a sweater from a sports suit. They asked me to wait 10 minutes because they had customers.
After 10 minutes, girls called me into the office and asked if I had a small photo, size 3x4, to add to the documents. I answered that no, no one had warned me about it. The red-haired girl smiled and said this was not a problem and they could do it in their clinic for an additional 100 hryvnias. I agreed. I expected a photographer to come, turn on the lamp and take a standard photo for documents.
But everything turned out differently. The girl took a black chair, placed it next to a white wall and took a picture of me on her phone. It made me laugh; I admire Ukrainians; they know how to make money from thin air. So every client who forgot to bring a photo with him pays 100 hryvnias and gets an image taken with an iPhone next to the wall.
They gave me a form with doctors and offices that I have to visit. The list of doctors was approximately as follows: an ophthalmologist, a surgeon, a neurologist, a psychiatrist, a narcologist, and several others. I walked into the office and was greeted by a woman in her 40s, wearing a warm pink sweater, a white hospital gown, and short hair dyed cheaply blonde. (It looks like “must have” after 40).😅She sat down at the table and started a survey, asking where I live, who I work for, and whether I have had any operations. After 2 minutes of our meeting, someone called her. She apologized, took a peppermint candy in her mouth, and left the office.
She came back with a bag of fish. A lot of live fish just caught! I could barely contain my laughter and at that moment I thought that I must write an article about this case.😃We continued to talk, and a fish was spinning in a bag on the side of the table. She asked a few more questions and signed the surgeon's report. I was already ready to go to another office, but she began to measure my blood pressure and put in another signature. She asked me if I was mentally healthy and drug-free, so I got two more signatures. In a few minutes, I had a completely ready medical examination. Seven different doctors and one fantastic woman who scans your health at a glance, doesn't that sound great?
What can I say about this? I am not surprised. I live in Ukraine.
I think our mentality has such features as the desire to do everything quickly and conveniently.
If you go to the doctor's office, look presentable, can see your doctor,😁and answer questions adequately, they have almost no doubt that you are healthy. So I'm even somewhat grateful to them for not making me spend the whole day running to different doctors and standing in long lines.
I went outside and just suffocated in my warm sweater. All the way home, I thought about how stupid I was and why I didn't check the weather forecast on the Internet.
Came home, took a shower. In the evening I was invited on a date. Yesterday, I went to the management company to deal with utility payments for my apartment. The older woman brought me to Mr. Andrii's office. He is young but already manages one of their departments. He is responsible for the supply of heat and gas to houses. He explained to me for a long time something about tariffs and payment of bills and often smiled to me. He was shy, but a few hours after the meeting, he called me and offered to drink coffee. I was surprised, but I can't refuse a person who knows almost everything about me and, in addition, manages the payment of my utility bills. 😅He took me to an Italian restaurant. After the first meeting, I can't say that I was very impressed with him, he is a bit boring and serious, but intelligent enough and I had a delicious dinner. Women's beauty and attractiveness make our lives easier, and I aptly use them occasionally. With a bold look, a cute smile, and a little flirting, every man is ready to help you solve your problems. So this guy was trapped.😉
